This annual series of workshops has been held since 1995 in conjunction with various other conferences, including IPDPS (formerly IPPS), the main parallel processing symposium sponsored by the IEEE, The ACM SIGMETRICS and ICS conferences, and HPDC/GGF, the premier annual meeting of the Global Grid Forum.

The proceedings of these workshops are published by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science Series.
