Abstract: Cloud has been consolidating as the primary choice to run services, due to a unique combination of price and convenience. However, there are still important niches that are not covered by Cloud. This talk discusses these niches and explores the research challenges that must be overcome to extend Cloud to effectively cover them.

It is planned to also publish a post-workshop proceedings in the Springer Lecture Notes on Computer Science series, as was done in previous years (pending approval from Springer).
