Excercise 1: Internet Research

Search for a good example of each one of the above New CHI forms.

  • See the Course site Topics page as a place to start

Create a Personal Wiki page in which you write one paragraph for each example.

  • Description of project+ Link
  • What you think is interesting and good about it
  • Add a link to your page on the NewCHI Wiki Home Page
  • DEADLINE: 2 Hours before the next class
Course WIKI:
  • Creating your own page in the WIKI:
    1. Click HERE (this will open a new web page inside the course WIKI)
    2. Enter Your Name (With No Spaces- FirstnameLastname) in the "New Page Name" field
    3. Click on SAVE
    4. Your Page has been created, but is now empty
    5. Click on EDIT at the bottom left of the page
    6. Edit the page (using these Formatting rules)
    7. Preview the page. When happy, click on SAVE
    8. Your new page has been created
  • Now add a link to your page on the NewCHI WIKI page by doing the following:
    1. Go to the NewCHI WIKI Page
    2. Click on EDIT
    3. Add a link to your page in the proper spot (Your Name link here under Student Reports)
