Amit Daniely
I am a senior lecturer (assistant professor) in the School of Computer Science and Engineering, at the Hebrew university of Jerusalem.
I am also a (part time) research scientist at Google, Tel-Aviv.
Prior to that, from 2015 until 2017, I was a research scientist at Google, Mountain-View.
Even prior to that, I did my Ph.D. at the Math department, here, at the Hebrew university of Jerusalem.
My advisors were Prof. Nati Linial and
Prof. Shai Shalev-Shwartz.
The focus of my research is the foundation of machine learning.
In STOC 2016 I gave a Tutorial on Hardness of Learning.
