IML 2004 - Exercise Guidelines

Grading

• There will be an exercise (almost) every week.
• The Exercise will be published until Thursdays, and should be handed until Sunday a week later at midnight.
• All exercises must be submitted on or before their due date unless a special permission was granted by the TA due to special circumstances (e.g. illness). Exercises can be submitted until 3 days later then the deadline with penalty of 5 points per day.
• Exercises can be submitted in pairs.
• A few of the exercises will be programming (wet) exercises.
  • The wet exercises require the usage of Matlab.
• The rest of the exercises will be theoretical.
• You have the option to skip one programming exercise and one theoretical exercise without a special permit.
• If you submit all the exercises then the two exercises with the lowest grade will be discarded. At most one theoretical and one wet exercise will be ignored.
• Each enrolled student must register for the course in order to be able to submit the exercises.
