Welcome!

I'm an MSc. student on the Computer Science program at Hebrew University's School of Engineering and Computer Science. In 2008 I finished my BSc in Computer Engineering, also at the School of Engineering and Computer Science.

This fall I will join the PhD program of the Computer Science Department at Carnegie Mellon University.

I am interested in Image processing, in particular how we can use vast data sets of images to help solve image processing problems. For my M.Sc research I explored the use of statistical state estmation techniques for object tracking and foreground layer extraction. I'm also interested in how the same types of techniques can be used in Robotics, allowing robots to behave intelligently.

I am part of the Computer Vision Group. My Advisor is Prof. Shmuel Peleg. My thesis entitled Persistent Particle-Filters For Background Substraction can be found here.

In March 2009 I honeymooned in New Zealand which got me thinking about my next adventure - building a bridge between the two peaks of Mt. kilimanjaro :)

I Have the world's smartest cat, and the world's best wife :-)
