I am a Ph.D candidate in Computer Science at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.
My focus is on the development of a virtual observatory for the web, based on
Hadoop
system. My advisor is
Scott Kirkpatrick. I did my master
thesis at the parallel computing lab on systems stabilization. The article was published by
MASCOTS '07.
I worked as a software engineer for Intel from 2007-10.
Before that, I was a mentor for a programming project at the
MEET organization (Middle East Education through Technology) sponsored by MIT.  I worked as a teaching assistant for the
PLLAB course (Programming Languages Laboratory) at the Computer Science Faculty of the Hebrew University.
I was happy to take part in the
Google retreat for Anita Borg in Zurich.
