Introduction

Conference description

Computer Aided Surgery (CAS) is a new technology with great potential for improving clinical outcomes through preoperatives simulations, assisted surgery procedures, and computer-based postoperatives clinical follow up. The 3th Mexican Symposium, to be held in México City, will present the state of the art of different techniques and perspectives and national clinical experience.

These technologies provide direct beneficts to the patients and to the surgeons by decreassing the morbility and mortality rates, increasing the visual perception and comfort, allowing remote assistance and decreassing the tremor hand for less invasive surgery.

Conference Objectives

The objective is to promote a partnership between surgeons, technologists, operating room staff, and industry as a necessary foundation for the successful integration of these techniques into a daily clinical routine.

Objectives

To promote and organise an anual scientific meeting devoted to Surgery Asisted by Computer

To promote scientific research into CAS

To establish relationships betwen the Physical doctors and medical doctors to promote common researchers
