The Laboratory for Computer-Aided Surgery and Medical Image Processing was founded in 1996 by Prof. Leo Joskowicz. Its goal is to conduct interdisciplinary research to develop innovative computer-based methods for assisting clinicians in the diagnosis, planning, execution, and evaluation of surgical procedures based on medical images.
