Hebrew University's School of Engineering and Computer Science has had a substantial impact on the high-tech industry in Jerusalem and throughout Israel, and is dedicated to nurturing a unique environment that spurs innovative thinking, encourages creativity and entrepreneurial skills, and brings about scientific progress and economic growth. The School's departments of Computer Science and Engineering, Applied Physics, and Bio-Engineering, cover a variety of research areas.

The Industrial Affiliates Program has been set up by the Hebrew University's School of Engineering and Computer Science with Yissum Research & Development Company to foster relationships between the Hebrew University's School of Engineering and Computer Science and industry partners. The program provides companies with access to the School's faculty and students, improved and highlighted access to the School's research results, and a means for providing input into the ongoing curriculum directions of the School. The Applied Physics Center for Electromagnetic Research & Characterization provides industry a one stop shop offering Dielectric Spectroscopy both for consultancy and research.

The Program gives companies opportunities for an active dialogue with the School of Engineering and CS, providing benefits, through recruiting opportunities, R&D cooperation, and curriculum input.
