"Nash Equilibria in Simultaneous Auctions"

Abstract:

I will begin by presenting some recent results on the application of
Fictitious Play algorithm to multiple, simultaneous second price
auctions with perfect substitutes. Depending on whether the bid and
value spaces are discrete or continuous the algorithm can be adapted
to approximate a mixed or a pure NE. Some existence results for the
pure NE will be presented as well.
