Exercise Guidelines:
Exercises:
In the exercises you will practice Image Processing using Matlab.
Each of the exercises include several steps and therefore you are given
2-4 weeks for submission. The exercise descriptions are in exercise
descriptions. You may not skip any exercise, and in any problem consult
the Teaching Assistant.
Files
To Submit:
You should submit all the exercises on the computer.
You need to submit the following files:
Tar
File:
You should create a tar file called exN.tar (where N is the number of the
exercise, e.g. ex1.tar for exercise no. 1) that contains the files you
should submit, and then submit only the tar file. For Unix, see man
tar for more information. For Windows, here is a small utility: TAR.EXE.
Submitting On The Computer:
Use the course
administration sever to submit your exercises.
You may submit several times, but only the last submission before
the deadline will be accepted.
For submit to work, make sure that both the submitted file and the directory
that contains it are readable to everybody at the time of submission.
Getting Your Grades:
Use Use the course
administration sever to get your grades. You will get a list of errors
for each checked exercise.
Irurim:
Irurim on exercise grades must be submitted within TWO WEEKS of
the date you received them back. You must submit the IRUR as file sent
to the impr account. Submitting an IRUR will subject the exercise to a
second test, which may either raise or lower the grade.
Late
Submissions:
Please be aware that the load on the computer increases towards submission
dates, and sometimes the computer even crashes as a result. Since we placed
the exercises-assignments well ahead of time, we hope that you can use
this to plan your time, and avoid getting stuck in the last minute. The
submission dates are FIRM.
You would lose 3 points for each day you are late. We don't count
Fridays and Saturdays.

Dates:

Honesty
is the best policy!
We expect you to do the exercises ON YOUR OWN.
You may not:
-
Copy programs or program parts (online or from a printout).
-
Look at other students' programs.
-
Leave matlab script files open for reading for others.
BEWARE:
We will regard cheating very seriously!
