Lots of updates for you today:

  • A new version of the Hack Student Suit.
  • A new version of the OS (download os.zip) 
  • The Compiler user guide is now available in the Tools section.
  • Minimized  Output.vm (only headers) that reduces the size for the generated out put files.
  • A new version of the Pong game (download Pong.zip)

December 12th

Project 8 is up.

Pong VM example is up too.

December 9th

Chapter 8 is now online.

November 26th

Chapter 7 of the book is now online.

November 21st

The links for project 6 are fixed now.

November 20th

  • Chapter 6 of the book "The Virtual Machine (a)" is up.
  • Project 6 and project 7 are up too.
  • The VM Emulator Tutorial is ready.
  • The script VMEmulator.csh will be used to run the VM Emulator.

November 11th

Project 4 is up.

Novemeber 7th

  • This is a bug report for chapter 5, ch_5_errors.pdf 
  • A minor update to project 5, project5.zip is now replaced by two files project5a.zip project5b.zip.
  • An update CPU Emulator Tutorial is up too.

November 5th

Lots of updates for you today:

  • Chapter 5 of the Book "Assembler".
  • A new version of the Hack Student Suit.
  • A tutorial for the CPU Emulator in the Tools page.
  • Project 5  is up in the Projects page, so please check it out.

November 4th

A new tutorial ( Assembler Tutorial) is up at the Tools page.

November 3rd

Chapter 4 of the Book is up, and a slightly updated Appendix B is up too.

October 27th

A new version of the chapter 3 is in the Book section.

Project 3 is up, and you can now submit project 2 through the Administratives page.

 

October 21st

A new version of the Hack Student Suit is up. It fixes some font problems as well as the reload problem for faulty chips. Please delete the old version and install the new one to avoid problems.

 

 October 20th

The second project is up.

You can now submit project one through the Administratives page.

 

October 17th

The updated Hack Student Suit for LINUX is up.

Please note that  the course will take place in Sprintsak 214 permanently.

 

October 15th

Welcome to the course, the first lecture will be today at 14:00 in Sprintsak 102.

Please visit the Administratives page and register for the course.

The first project is due 24/10.

The Hack Student Suit currently on the site is intended for Windows users only, a LINUX compatable verison will be up in the next couple of days.
