The last decade has seen the emergence and prospering of a new interdisciplinary field of research often termed "Algorithmic Game Theory".
This field lies at the cross-roads of computer science, game-theory, and economics, a combination needed for addressing many of the challenges and opportunities brought by the Internet.
During March 1 to August 31, 2011, the Institute of Advanced Studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem will host a group of leading researchers in Algorithmic Game Theory with the goal of elucidating and addressing some of the key challenges of the field.
